CDG’s put words (text) on the TV when played in a Karaoke CDG Player. If you don’t have a CDG player, CDG’s will play the audio only in a regular CD player. Guide Vocals are extra tracks on a disc with someone singing the song so you can learn how to sing it! Discs with vocal guides tend to have fewer songs (5 – 9 songs) due to the extra vocal guide tracks. If you already know how to sing the songs and prefer to get more songs for your money (12 – 20 songs), choose a disc without vocal guides. Lyric Sheets are the printed words of the song on paper for those who do not have a CDG karaoke player that puts the words on the TV and use a regular CD player to play the disc. SPECIAL NOTE!
